This week’s blog topic was on responsive websites. For my good example, I decided to use a website I frequent quite often. Buzzfeed has a great responsive website. When first going to their homepage, their navigation is extremely easy to follow. A lot of their content and main articles or quizzes are big and bold to make the user more apt to click on them. The website is structured very well. Although their layout is very simple, using a white background with accent colors of black, red, and yellow, the whole page flows together well.

As far as poorly designed responsive websites go, Amgren is the worst. While doing research for this blog I stumbled upon this website and knew immediately I had to incorporate it. The website itself is a visual eyesore. The graphics and links are scattered all over. The navigation is incredibly difficult to use, and the colors are thrown together carelessly. The website barely fits for a desktop view, so as it’s scaled-down, you see just see the website in it’s entirety. This whole website makes for a bad user experience.
